Little Aths starts in October. Footy preseason starts in November. This is the quietest the calendar gets all year, and the best two weeks to get in front of both.
Bookings close Friday 18 SeptemberThree different sessions. Come to one, or come to all three.
Jumping a hurdle costs speed every single time. Attacking one does not. This workshop teaches the difference, so your athlete gets to round one already knowing what they are doing. A full ninety minutes with six athletes, so every one of them gets hands-on coaching over the barrier for the whole session, not a spot in a queue.
Toes up, knees up. Getting the lead leg over fast and flat instead of floating up and over the top.
The whip through that most athletes never get taught, and the one that keeps them running instead of landing.
Hurdle heights and spacings change as an athlete moves up the age groups, so they learn to alternate and lead with either leg. Most never get taught this, and it is what keeps their rhythm working next season and the one after.
They finish over the barriers at speed with a number on the clock, so the improvement is something they can see.
Hurdling is the most technical thing your athlete will do all season, and it is the easiest one to be taught badly. Bad habits learned in week one take years to undo. So this session is coached by someone who has actually run the event.
This is why the group is capped at six. Every athlete gets eyes on their trail leg, every rep.
Season has just finished and preseason kicks off in November. The players who turn up ready are the ones who did something in between. This session is that something. One hour, $33, and the cheapest insurance against a rough November you will find.
The first three steps. Winning the ball, winning the contest, and breaking away when the gap opens.
Stopping, turning and going again without losing half a second every time.
Speed endurance built around what the game actually asks for. Fast in the last quarter, not just the first.
A coach's eye on how they move, and the one change that will make the biggest difference over summer.
In one session your athlete gets real data, and you get to see exactly where the quick wins are. No guessing, and a written report lands in your inbox within 48 hours.
The first three steps, how explosively they get off the mark and win the contest in every sport.
Maximum velocity, their true top-end speed once they're up and running at full flight.
The explosive power behind their acceleration and change of direction.
Not just a number on the day. Every athlete gets their own login and a written report of their results and the one thing that will help them most, in your inbox within 48 hours, so you still have it in six months when you want to compare.
A speed test is only worth as much as the measurement behind it. Before coaching, Al spent 25 years as an instrumentation and calibration technician, which is the trade of making sure instruments tell the truth. That is why the number on your report means something, and why it will still mean something when you test again next year. Getting the measurement right is the slow, careful part, and so is reading it properly. The bit in between, turning your athlete's numbers into something you can act on, is the part we have made fast. Every report still goes past Al before it reaches you.
Your athlete's own numbers, and what they mean, in your inbox within 48 hours. Because the quicker we process the results, the quicker they get the program they need, and the sooner they can get to work on the areas that matter most to them.
We compare results against published research data, and that comparison only starts to mean much from about 15, once puberty has done most of its work. Younger than that, the number that matters is your athlete's own baseline and what changes between tests. We will not hand you a percentile that does not mean anything yet. Under 15, the report tells you where they are now and what to work on. From 15, it also tells you how that stacks up.
One focused session a week and you'll see a faster, more confident athlete off the mark.
Two sessions and it stops being something they do. It becomes who they are.
Go monthly and your athlete trains to a real plan with Final Surge programming, plus the Speed Assessment app to track their progress session to session.
Enrol for the term and your athlete gets My Athletic Journey, their own skill-development journey in the app. Every session, every win, visible at home, not just on the track.
That's what most parents really want. Not a hard sell. A safe, fun session where their child gets taught something properly, sees a real number, and walks off the track standing a little taller. The best way to know if we're the right fit is to come and see. When your athlete has a win, we both win.
